ever since i added a pokemon wordlist to my set of wordlists for my blog puzzles, i have grappled with how exactly to clue them - like, 90% of pokemon have very graspable portmanteau names, so theoretically a description of those should be enough, but also I imagine most people who don't know pokemon are just skipping them entirely until they get crosses, so maybe I can just get super duper inside baseball with it (e.g., what i have in the parentheses for this puzzle). it could be neat to have like dual clues that can be toggled somehow - entirely possible on this blog with like a little setting on the website or something, but definitely adds a little work to the upload process. hope you enjoy the puzzle, pokemon enjoyer or not!
