i feel like i'm really hitting a stride in terms of cluing, both in the sense of doing the classic sorts of misdirects well (very very proud of 4D) and in finding my own voice and doing things a bit more silly (3D, 11D, 18A, 42-46A). i feel like my ambition for my voice as a constructor is not just in the sense of "filling and cluing everything related to something i like" (though i think that is a real and valid direction to go with it that i take often), but like making stuff that you can sense i made even without seeing my byline? i suppose it helps that i made my name into really good crossword fill LMAO.
